The Pope’s Video is now in its fifth year. The Pontifex’s words will then be available in 23 languages, becoming increasingly “viral”.
17 November 2020 – With new Statutes, Pope Francis establishes the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network as a canonical and Vatican legal person as a Pontifical Foundation, entrusted to the Society of Jesus.
May 2020 – Launch of the formation platform “The Way of the Heart” (86 videos, 86 audios, 350 infographics, 11 digital books).
2019 – Launch of Click To Pray eRosary, an evangelisation project aimed at young people connected to the digital and technological world.
28-29 June – Celebration of the 175th anniversary and 10 years of the recreation of the Apostleship of Prayer as the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network.
1 June 2019 – Civiltà Cattolica writes about the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network.
January – During the Angelus, Pope Francis opens his prayer profile on Click To Pray.
27 March – Pope Francis approves the new Statutes (which include the Eucharistic Youth Movement) and establishes the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network as a pontifical work.
8 January – Angelus – Pope Francis invites you to participate in the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network. With the recreation of this ecclesial service, Pope Francis returns to praying with an intention each month, so that it is a monthly orientation for life and mission, maintaining, between months, the alternation between a universal and a missionary prayer intention.
The Pope Video and Click To Pray, the Pope’s prayer platform, are launched in January and March respectively, as projects of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network.
