The National Meeting of the Pope’s Prayer Network in Italy took place from April 4th to 7th, 2024, at the Sanctuary of Merciful Love in Collevalenza, gathering 120 participants from across the country.
Under the theme ‘At the Source of Compassion,’ this event provided an opportunity for the international director, Fr Frederic Fornos SJ, and the international vice-director, Fr Cristóbal Fones SJ, to delve deeper into the mission of compassion for the world. Invited by the national director, Father Renato Colizzi SJ, and his team, they highlighted how the Pope’s prayer intentions reflect the current challenges of the world and the vision of a Church promoted by Pope Francis.
This meeting marks a new spiritual dynamism and renewal, especially through the retreats of the Way of the Heart, following the transformation of the Apostleship of Prayer into the Pope’s Prayer Network in Italy.
