From July 24 to August 25, 2025, the International Vice-Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, Bettina Raed, made a pastoral visit to the communities of Central America, sharing moments of prayer, formation, and discernment with the national teams of the Network and the Eucharistic Youth Movement.

With deep sadness and astonishment, we share the news of the passing of Fr. Alberto Irenus SJ, who served as the National Director for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, as well as the Continental Coordinator of the PWPN for the entire Asia-Pacific region.

Pope Leo XIV received Father Cristóbal Fones SJ, International Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, in a private audience to discuss this pontifical work of ecclesial service, which operates in more than 90 countries and is governed by new Statutes approved in July 2024.

On July 22, the international pilgrimage of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network brought together participants from around the world for a deep spiritual experience in one of the most significant places for devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Last Friday, June 27th, on the occasion of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, communities of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network from different corners of the world came together to celebrate this central feast of our spirituality.

The event, broadcast from Rome on the solemnity of Corpus Christi, brought together young people from all five continents to commemorate the history and mission of the EYM.
