From November 9 to 22, the Acting International Director, Cristóbal Fones SJ, and the International Vice Director, Bettina Raed, visited the Pope’s Prayer Network mission in India. The National Director and South Asia Continental Coordinator, Fr. Jagdish Parmar SJ, along with the national team of India, organized a comprehensive program of visits and meetings for the international leadership team.
The visit included participation in the National Meeting of Diocesan Coordinators in Lucknow, as well as zonal meetings in Ranchi, Dindigul, and Trivandrum. Priests, religious sisters, laypeople, and religious sisters in formation were present. A dedicated session was also held with Jesuits in formation and diocesan seminarians in Trivandrum.
Key topics discussed during these meetings included the mission of the Prayer Network, the spirituality of The Way of the Heart, and the spiritual pedagogy of the EYM. The program also allowed time to explore various historical sites significant to India’s culture and Christian heritage.
These days served as a valuable opportunity to reflect on the mission, exchange aspirations, and plan future initiatives with the national team. We thank the Lord for the mission of the Prayer Network in India!
