Fr. Cristóbal Fones SJ, International Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, recently completed an apostolic journey through the Asia Pacific region, strengthening ties with local communities and national teams while promoting the mission of the Network and its international initiatives: The Way of the Heart, Click To Pray, and The Pope Video.

We thank Pope Francis for his closeness, love, and words of encouragement to his Worldwide Prayer Network.

From January 21 to 25, the Meeting of the International Council of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network is taking place in Rome. This event brings together continental coordinators and members of the Vatican international office to reflect on the mission of the Prayer Network in different continents and plan activities for the coming year.

Pope Francis welcomed the team from the international office, the continental coordinators, permanent collaborators of the Worldwide Prayer Network, and the ambassadors of the Pro-Rete Mondiale di Preghiera del Papa Foundation to the Apostolic Palace

Effective January 1, 2025, Fr. Cristóbal Fones SJ will take on the role of International Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network

From November 9 to 22, the Acting International Director, Cristóbal Fones SJ, and the International Vice Director, Bettina Raed, visited the Pope’s Prayer Network mission in India.
